Dr. Maurice J. Convey, D.M.D.
Dr. Convey grew up on Long Island, New York, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Adelphi University. He went on to graduate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1994. Rather than returning to New York, he chose to move north to New England to be closer to ski country—a perfect fit for his love of snowboarding.
After working as an associate dentist for two years in Bethel, Dr. Convey joined Oxford Hills Dental in 1996, becoming the practice’s third owner.
In 2005, he served as President of the Maine Dental Association and represented Maine as a delegate to the American Dental Association. He is also a Fellow of both the International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Nearly 30 years later, Dr. Convey still enjoys hitting the slopes several days a week during the winter and mountain biking once the snow melts. Outside of the office, he loves travelling with his two sons and his dog, Kaiser.
